Putin for the Nobel Peace Prize?

Vladimir Putin has shown the world how a real statesman should act.

Of course, the history books of the future will dress this up as an American victory in a move towards a peaceful resolution, not unlike the USSR’s ignored but ultimately decisive and crucial role during WWII. Instead we hear that the Yanks won it for us, despite the fact that Hiroshima and Nagasaki were simply a “show of strength” to show Stalin that the US had the bomb and were prepared to use it. Similarly, the lauding of that drunkard Churchill, who committed the war crime of the bombing of Dresden amongst others. Also, not forgetting that neither the US nor the UK saw fit to bomb Auschwitz or the railway lines leading to it, but managed to bomb the IG Farben oil and rubber plant, a mere five miles away from Auschwitz-Birkenau. Obama should be ashamed that he is the recipient of a Nobel Peace Prize…oh the irony… and should instead hand it over to a statesman whose recent foreign policy actions are far more deserving.
